Twenty four
can’t believe i’ll be 25 next year and i have big plans for myself. top of my mind includes…
- doing more oss work with at least 10k stars by end of 2026
- launch a thing and do a cinematic with $0 ARR
- write more in-depth technical blogs based on the technical research i’ve done at work
- be better at what i do and faster
- build a garden of friends ! come say hi
- always be healthier and mentally sharp
My framework
ai is bad for your brain. you lose what you don’t use and i’ve strongly felt the affect of ai since its reign. but it could also be a superpower when used correctly.
i am very much infinitely spoiled by all the great companies giving me unlimited access to ai tools, i’m pretty sure i’ve incurred at least thousands of $ in api usage for claude code within the past few months, but it is clear the ROI for speed is worth it
my past mentor during my internship deeply understood what i need. i have a need to learn things deeply and slowly. so now to prevent ai from taking over what i love to do, i keep an infinite backlog of things that i encounter on the job but never had a deep understanding of it.
when the project end after all the shipping, i revisit those topics and read about it, and see if there are any room for optimizations, and iterate from there.
More writing
i think the joy of the web is you can literally do anything without a care in the world. i will start posting in-depth technical details about a thing i found cool, post it on anywhere and let the reviews come in, positive or negative.
my new year’s resolution start now.
